‘lock & be free’ by Wanna one studio in Madrid

Local-based studio wanna one was commissioned to shape and rejuvenate the image of the old and cliché lockers in madrid, that were poorly lit and arranged along gray aisles. Named ‘lock & be free’, the storage space has opened near the touristic street gran vía, in calle jardines 11, offering travelers a place to leave their hand luggage, weighing up to 25kg, and also giving them access to private rooms for bigger pieces.
The challenge of the studio was to shape the brand’s concept ‘leave your luggage, live the city’ into the brand’s universe and its interior design scheme. the latter one combines highly topical colors and materials: white peg boards, yellow lockers flanked by a circular font, a typical airport rubber floor and a powerful set of lights transmitting a lot of positive energy.
